Travel Playlists

At the intersection of music and travel, Expedia and Spotify partnered to create a memorable digital experience: the ultimate travel playlist—a melodic passport to destinations around the globe. From vibrant cityscapes to tranquil mountaintops, each track was curated to capture the essence of a place.

Bruno, serving as Senior Designer at Pacific, played a key role in bringing this vision to life. He helped craft a mobile-responsive website that served as the perfect canvas for this sonic journey. The branding was carefully designed to harmonize Expedia’s travel-forward identity with Spotify’s rich musical culture, resulting in an experience that was both immersive and emotionally resonant.

Crafting the branding

Bruno helped define a visual language rooted in flat geometric illustrations—a fusion of art and travel that captured the spirit of personal exploration. These custom visuals invited users to journey through the world via music, each design echoing the emotional resonance of destination-inspired playlists.

The website itself moved in harmony with the music. On desktop, it stretched out like an open road, encouraging users to discover tracks, uncover their origins, and dive into sonic wanderlust. On mobile, Bruno crafted it into a pocket-sized jukebox, perfectly suited to accompany travelers on flights and train rides. Seamless animations swirled like stardust, guiding users fluidly from one page to the next.
