Dojo, a Canadian retailer specializing in mixed martial arts gear, approached the studio with a clear challenge: to design an e-commerce experience that not only showcased their product line but also embodied the core values of their brand—craftsmanship, precision, and meticulous attention to detail. Bruno played a key role in bringing this vision to life, ensuring the digital storefront reflected the same discipline and focus that defines the Dojo brand.

Dojo lettermark is clean and simple in its communication. The sharp cut corners signature acts as a discoverable. The color swatch mixes the traditional black & white with a secondary bright warm red tone.

Minimalistic
Aesthetics

Bruno streamlined the visual design by removing unnecessary clutter, allowing the products to take center stage. He employed clean lines, generous white space, and carefully chosen typography to create a seamless and focused browsing experience.

Drawing inspiration from the movement, energy, and discipline of mixed martial arts, Bruno curated high-impact visuals, dynamic action shots of fighters, detailed close-ups of gear, and the raw atmosphere of the training arena. These images were thoughtfully integrated across product pages and used as visual cues throughout the site to reinforce the brand’s identity.

Streamlined Sophistication

Bruno focused on user-centered design, introducing quick filters for various martial arts disciplines, detailed size guides, and personalized product recommendations to make the shopping experience smooth and efficient.

The Dojo website was built to be fully responsive, whether on desktop, tablet, or mobile. Bruno implemented fluid grids, adaptable layouts, and intuitive navigation to ensure a consistent and seamless experience across all devices.
